If you have a Microsoft Office 365 subscription, the odds are good that you also have the ability to set up Microsoft Office on at least one computer. This installs desktop versions of the Microsoft Office collection of applications, which includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access. Using locally installed software is an excellent option for users who can’t stand being able to access software through the web, or who might not always have access to a Web connection to access the cloud versions of the applications. The drawback to performing this install, however, is that you have to install the entire collection of applications, so you can’t pick and choose specific applications to install.
And now, the steps to set up the suite of Microsoft applications locally on your pc if you have an Office 365 membership. You’ll land on the Microsoft web page that says Welcome to Office in the heart of it. Click “REGISTER” in the upper right part of the screen. You’ll land on a login web page that prompts you for the e-mail and password associated with your Office 365 accounts.
Enter the email associated with your workplace 365 accounts. You’ll automatically be shuffled to another Enter Password display. Enter the security password associated with your workplace 365 accounts, and then click “Sign In.” You’ll arrive at the Microsoft Office home display screen. Click on the blue “Install Office” button in the top of the right corner of the display screen.
You’ll be taken to the My Account screen. Click on the orange “Install” button in the Download and Install Office section. A dialog package fly up from underneath of the display screen prompting one to download a setup executable file. Click “Save.” Another dialog package appears following the download is complete requesting if you want to perform the executable document you just downloaded.

Click “Yes” in the dialog box that appears requesting if you want to permit Microsoft Office to make changes to your device. An orange Office screen appears in the heart of your display screen informing you that Microsoft gets your personal computer ready for the install. You’ll see dots move across the center of the home window while Microsoft is getting your computer ready. Additionally, this will need some right time, and the window will go away and reappear while this work has been done regularly. When your computer is ready, the orange window will go away and an Office window that lists a small number of core Microsoft application icons and a progress bar appears.
The progress pub appears toward the bottom of the windowpane. An initial notification will appear, telling you that you can begin using your apps, however, many components are installing still, so you’ll need to wait around before restarting or shutting down your personal computer. Another notification shall appear to help you discover when the set up is completely finished. Click “Close” in the window that appears letting you know that your install is ready.
